Deskon is a small online shop for the things that sit on a desk rather than the desk itself. Sixty pieces, sorted into four groups, chosen on the same test each time: does it do one job properly, is it made of something you can name, and would we put it on our own desk?
That is the whole idea. We are not trying to sell you a workspace. We are trying to fix the four things that are usually wrong with the one you already have.
What we sell
Risers, stands and mounts — 18 pieces, $29–$89
Solid walnut and aluminium monitor risers, laptop stands, tablet and phone docks, and clamp-on arms. These exist to solve the most common desk problem there is: the screen is too low, so you spend the day looking down at it. Browse risers, stands and mounts.
Desk pads and wrist rests — 14 pieces, $32–$79
Oversized vegan leather, wool felt and cork pads, plus solid walnut wrist and palm rests. This is the surface you actually touch for eight hours, which makes it a strange thing to leave to whatever finish your desk happened to ship with. Browse desk pads and wrist rests.
Cable management — 10 pieces, $21–$54
Wood and bamboo-lidded boxes that take a power strip and its slack out of sight, and magnetic clips that stop a charging cable sliding off the back of the desk. The least glamorous category we stock and the one people thank us for most. Browse cable management.
Desk organization and accessories — 18 pieces, $27–$74
Walnut organisers, pen holders, bookends, under-desk drawers, headphone stands and monitor lighting. Everything that needs a home before it ends up back on the surface. Browse desk organization.
How we choose what to stock
We are a shop, not a factory. We do not design or manufacture these products, and we are not going to pretend otherwise — we source them, we check them against a short list of rules, and we stock the ones that pass.
- One job, done properly. A riser that is also a charger and a lamp and a drawer is usually mediocre at four things. We would rather stock the riser.
- Materials you can name. Black walnut, beech, bamboo, cork, wool felt, aluminium alloy. If the honest answer is “printed vinyl over particle board”, we pass.
- Dimensions published, not hidden. Every listing carries the measurements that decide whether a thing fits your desk — riser height, pad width and depth, wrist rest thickness, the internal size of a cable box. Most returns happen because a product did not fit, and most of those are avoidable with one number on the page.
- It has to look like it belongs. Desk accessories live in your eyeline all day. Gaming-lit plastic is a legitimate taste; it just is not the one this shop is for.
What we are not
Being clear about this saves everyone time.
- We are online only. There is no showroom to visit.
- We do not run fake sales. You will not find a permanent “was” price struck through on this site, or a countdown timer that resets when you reload the page.
- We do not have customer reviews yet. When we do, they will be real ones from people who bought something. Until then we would rather show you the measurements than invent a five-star quote.
- We are not an ergonomics clinic. Our guides describe common setup practice, not medical advice. If something hurts, that is a conversation for a qualified professional, not a product page.
What ordering from us is like
- Free standard shipping anywhere in the US, on every order. No minimum to reach first, and no express upsell waiting at checkout.
- 30 days to change your mind. Use it on your actual desk for a month. If it is not right, email us and send it back unused in its original packaging. The full terms are in our refund policy.
- A person answers the email. Write to contact@deskon.store and you will get a reply from someone who can actually look at your order.
Before you buy, measure something
The single biggest reason a desk accessory disappoints is that it is the wrong size for the desk it arrives at. Three measurements prevent almost all of it:
- Desk to eye line. Sit normally, mark where your eyes land on the wall behind the desk, and measure down to the desk surface. That tells you how much riser height you need.
- Mouse travel. Move your mouse from one extreme to the other as you would in real work, and measure between the marks. Buy the pad size above that number.
- Power strip height, including its tallest plug. Compare it to the internal dimensions of a cable box, not the external ones.

Start somewhere
If you fix one thing this month, fix the screen height — it is the only change on our shelves that alters how you hold your head for eight hours a day. Everything after that is comfort, quiet and tidiness, which are worth having but easier to live without.
